Nicola started working alongside Charlie Clarricoates as a dog trainer seeing clients from the South East of England.
Her area of experience involved offering behavioural advice to clients with adult dogs, including rescued dogs, which had a variety of unwanted behaviours. These dogs often had little or no training or socialisation. She also gave advice on the prevention of behavioural problems in the younger dog/puppy.
Having lived with Leonbergers and Irish Wolfhounds for many years, Nicola has a particular interest in the behavioural problems and associated training needs for the larger breed dog. Her main focus of training is now via a dedicated giant breed fun agility class (Anglian Giant Agility) with giant breed equipment which she holds in an indoor equestrian facility near Cambridge.
Nicola's personal experience with her dogs has seen her successfully train them for the obedience ring, show ring, agility and water rescue work. Her first class degree in Behavioural Studies has also helped her to gain an understanding of the complex link between dog behaviour and the human relationship.
