My name is Diane and I am originally from the Midwest (USA) where I earned my BA from the University of Michigan. I was later mentored by several of the finest dog practitioners in the UK where I earned my Masters degree in the psychology of dog breed behaviour Middlesex University, London, England.
I maintain a full membership from the Canine & Feline Behaviour Association (CFBA) of Great Britain and am editor of the CFBA quarterly magazine. I am certified through the Cambridge Institute of Dog Behaviour & Training (CIDBT), where I also distance tutor for the following courses:
I am currently based in Seattle. In addition to my private practice, Continental Canine Behaviour, Ltd., I am also contracted as the exclusive Canine Practitioner by one of Seattle's renowned pet care providers. Additionally, I am contracted to teach puppy, basic, Level II (advanced) and Level III (advanced) dog training classes in Kirkland, on the east side of Lake Washington.
One of my specialties and favourite aspects of my work is educating owners - the more difficult the dog's behaviour, all the more sweet the successes! Nothing makes me happier than a happy dog and owner!
Last, but not least - I have a special affinity towards bull breeds and am the proud owner of Lolly, Dogue de Bordeaux - one of my favourite teachers!
