Adam is a dog trainer and behaviourist based on the edge of the North Downs in Kent. He is a full time dog handler and owns and manages ‘Town and Country Canine’.
The main emphasis of the work undertaken is with dogs that are displaying behavioural problems and in some cases are referred to him from local veterinary practices.
Adam takes on work on a one to one basis with the dogs and their respective owners and prides himself on offering a tailored and individual service, working on the behaviour in the places that it matters most.
The methods used are tried and tested and are fully explained to the owners and this clarity of instruction; and the reasons why specific elements of training are being carried out give the owners a understanding of the causes and solutions of the behaviour problems, as well as the confidence to be able to address these issues with consistency on their own in the future.
Adams' passion lays with the working gun dog breeds (in particular the English Springer Spaniel), but also has a heartfelt desire to assist dogs that have had less ‘fortunate’ starts in life and have been placed in rescue centres.
Adam has had dogs all of his life and understands the importance of living with ‘mans best friend’ and how much easier this is when it is in harmony!
